Pre-Licensed Counselor
Everyone needs a safe space to be heard and cared for without judgement. As your counselor, I believe every life has purpose and worth. When we begin the counseling journey together, my goal is to establish a safe space for you to feel welcome and supported. As we work together, I will guide you to skills and tools to manage life struggles, and empower you to make positive choices.
I was born in New York City, but raised in Lancaster, PA. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lancaster Bible College. I am a Pre-licensed Professional Counselor. I have also completed Level 1 and Level 2 trainings in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
My clinical experience ranges from children, teens, young adults, adults, and couples. I have experience working with high school and college students who encounter various life adjustments, relationships, and mental health struggles. As I work with adults, my areas of focus are relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, and trauma. In counseling, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based therapy, Faith-based counseling, and Person Centered Therapy. I am passionate about teaching the importance of boundaries and self-care, while building upon your self-awareness. Although I have specific interventions and theories I utilize, my primary goal is to consider the individual needs of my clients and constantly grow in my skills as your counselor.
As we work together, my hope is that counseling brings growth and change. I am honored to walk along side of you and I look forward to starting a new journey with you!
