Certified Spiritual Director Pre-Licensed Pastoral Counselor Certified Trauma and Resilience Specialist
I believe everyone has an innate and vital need to be seen, heard, valued, and understood. But in today’s fast-paced society, these needs can be easily sidelined by the demands of life, work, family, and relationships. Sometimes change involves confronting pain and discomfort to move forward, but more importantly, it calls for unflinching honesty in order to bring about true healing. I consider counseling a sacred role, one in which I walk gently alongside clients and provide guidance in order to help them achieve a better quality of life together.
As a counselor, I'm trained and certified as a Certified Clinical Trauma and Resilience Specialist. I am also trained and utilize in sessions Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Emotionally Focused Therapy (CBT / EFT). I specialize in Marriage and Family Therapy working with couples, both pre-marital and family to help revitalize troubled relationships by strengthening healthy bonds and promoting better communication. Alongside these tools, I also have clinical chaplaincy CPE training in both grief & loss, as well as experience in working with addictions and mental health disorders. I happily integrate pastoral counseling for those facing difficulties in life transitions and challenges of faith and theology, if so desired.
If you're ready to start on a journey towards health but don't know where to begin, I'm here for you, and I'm genuinely excited to accompany you in seeking emotional wholeness in life and in your relationships.
